Dreams

It would be nice to live in a country where I am not judged by the colour of my skin, but by the contents of my character. This is not to be found in Madagaskar. At first sight people approach with great respect any friendly welcomes all white or slightly red skinned primates. You could think it is nice of them, but in fact this is still a trace of humiliation performed by my fellow pink skins over the last hundred years and still I find them shouting at workers whilst turning to me smiling friendly.

This can be called racism, kolonialism, fear, lack of social abilities, effective management qualities, I don’t know. It does work it seems, as malagasy tell me that if they are not shouted at once in a while, they will take advantage.
